Preston's Second Anniversary

The Business Network Preston's 20th October event was a rather special one: our second anniversary! Held at the Preston Marriott the venue for our inaugural event in 2009, a lively gathering of over 85 members and visitors marked the occasion.

I was delighted to see so many founder members, and to welcome many of their guests and previous visitors. The businesses at Preston have a wonderful sense of community and mutual support. That's really down to the effort that our members put into the network, and the amazing work they go on to deliver often in collaborations - as a result.

A very big Thank You to everyone who joined us for our second anniversary, particularly our founder members who are great ambassadors for the Preston network. I hope we'll be here to mark many more anniversaries and successes for our members.

During our first two years, The Business Network Preston has grown to include over 70 regular business members in sectors which are both complementary and diverse. From business development consultants to physiotherapists, accountants to entertainers, IT consultants to wholesale, the network is proud to represent a broad cross-section of the local business community.

Why not come along and see for yourself!

What our members say...

"I can’t praise Business Network (Central & East Lancs) highly enough. It offers just the right blend of formal and informal networking and, crucially, a good mix of organisations to build relationships with. We’ve made some excellent contacts and some really good friends."

Chris Macpherson
Chapelfield PR

"I have attended various networking events to get a feel for what they can offer and I found the Preston Business Network stood out head and shoulders above the rest. The pre-lunch seminars are always interesting, members are fully committed to helping other members achieve success and Karen, the leader, ensures you get the most out of your subscription. The excellent company, outstanding venues and delicious lunch are value for money. But most of all, I really look forward to attending the events!"
